Paypal is a connection that returns a user's Paypal account, balances and transactions as a personal, cash-type account

It authorises the connection in the standard user journey.

Categorisation Overrides

The following override occurs when a user has at least one account connected of the type cash and a PayPal account.

1. In the cash-type accounts, transactions with paypalin the description; The engine will override any categorisation to transfers. This override will affect transactions leaving the connected card / linked bank account.
2. The categorisation engine categorises the transactions on the PayPal account as normal (since they have the counterparty name in them).
   This will mean categorisation and spending analysis is correct from the date someone connects their PayPal account.
